Counselling and Coaching with a trauma-informed lens. I don’t diagnose or treat mental illness. If another therapy is a better fit, I’ll say so and help you find the right support.

We slow things down, get to know each other, map what’s going on, set aims, and try one or two gentle regulation tools so you leave with something practical.

Most people start with 4–6 sessions, weekly or fortnightly, then review. Some move to monthly maintenance. We balance momentum with not overwhelming your system.

Sessions are confidential with standard safeguarding exceptions (risk of harm/legal requirements). This isn’t a crisis service—if you’re in immediate danger call 999 (UK) or Samaritans 116 123.

Both. Most clients meet online via Zoom; limited in-person sessions are available by arrangement.

Fees are shared and paid before booking. Cancellations/reschedules with 24 hours’ notice incur no charge (a refund) later cancellations are chargeable (emergencies considered).

For young and older adults seeking paced, practical support around anxiety, overwhelm, patterns, recovery, and a sense of self again. It’s not suitable for acute crisis, active psychosis, or where intensive clinical care is required.

Yes—where helpful. I draw from nervous-system education, somatic tools, IFS-informed parts work, and EMDR-informed principles, woven into straightforward counselling, coaching and care.
