A Life Less Ordinary
My name is Paul Sines, and I am a qualified and accredited trauma and addiction-informed Life Coach. My approach is rooted in empathy, shaped not only by my knowledge of modalities and therapeutic processes but also by my own lived experiences with trauma, addiction, and recovery.
Life for me has been a journey of transformation—a series of chapters, each marked by challenges, survival, and growth. For years, I carried the weight of emotional baggage, living in cycles of protection and self-destruction that kept me at a distance from my authentic self. Although like many I was unaware of such things until I knew. ‘You only know what you know until you know some more’.
It wasn’t until I stopped, reflected, and sought help that I began to break free.
Through self-reflection, therapy, and a willingness to confront the parts of me I’d long avoided, I came to understand that behaviours I once saw as survival mechanisms were, in fact, holding me back. Addiction, for example, was not the problem itself but an expression of deeper issues—a lack of self-worth and self-respect that had taken root long before. Recognising this was the turning point.
Now, on the other side of those struggles, I am committed to living as the best version of myself. I am immersed in my learning path and continue to qualify and learn new things, ensuring I bring the best of myself to my work. This latest chapter of my life is the most rewarding yet: supporting others on their journeys toward healing and rediscovery. I firmly believe that mental health deserves the same care and attention as physical health—it’s good housekeeping for the mind.
My work is my passion, and I am both humbled and energised by the opportunity to help others find their way back to themselves. It’s our Birthright!
Every story is unique, but healing always begins with one brave step forward. Let’s take that step together.
